Manage Holiday Lettings a.k.a. MHL is THE software use by property owners and property managers to effectively and efficiently manage the lettings of those properties.

Functionality details:

Multi currency

The system support multi currencies with an automated exchange rate calculation where on each launch of the program (configurable in settings) the latest exchange rates are automatically imported from the European Central Bank. With the multi currency property you can e.g. create your Rate Groups in Euros for a property in France and in Norwegian Crowns (NOK) for a property in Norway and still accept booking in British Pounds. With this functionality you provide maximum flexibility to your tenants as well as to yourself and or the property owner you manage the property for.

Owner management

Each property needs to be related to an owner. If you manage multiple properties on behalf of different owners, MLH support you with this. In case you operate as a property manager a setting can be made that will automatically send a copy of each booking confirmation to the email address of the property owner. With this function the property owner is informed of each booking without any additional effort. As a property manager a certain percentage of the bookings are for the owner and a percentage is for you as property manager. On the property level you can indicate the owners’ percentage.

Property Management

The Manage Holiday Lettings (MHL) software supports an unlimited number of holiday properties. Via a very intuitive user interface you can manage all relevant fields of this property like: property owner, change over day, base currency to work with, owners percentage and deposit conditions. Using rich text editors (like word) you can create texts with formatting for the “How to get there” and “Booking information” sections that will be used in your email booking confirmations. The integration with www.holidaylettings.co.uk is also here your home id can be entered so each availability change will automatically be update on their website.

Tenant management

For each tenant all personal and address fields can be entered here as well as the source of this tenant (“Google, Holiday lettings, website or any other source that you add to the system yourself”). Each tenant can use a different currency which will be defaulted in the booking screens.

Rate groups

Rate groups are used to create your rental conditions sheet on property level. You enter the start and end date of a certain period and the rent and other rates that are applicable. The rate groups are used to calculate the total rental fee during the booking process.

Booking

Registering a booking in the system is very easy. Select the property involved, the tenant and the requested period. The system will check the properties availability and calculate the rental fees. If you save the booking, MHL will send a booking confirmation email to the tenant including a paypal payment request link (if you want) and an email to the property owner (if configured). The availability calendar is updated and if you have configured this also your property availability on www.holidaylettings.co.uk is updated.

Payment

Upon receipt of payment from a tenant you select the booking and type of payment, register the amount received and the tenants balance is updated.

Reports

There are some standard reports available in MHL but more important MHL has a built in Report Generator that allows you with great ease of use to create your own reports including all formatting options you desire. Reports can be saved in HTML, csv or PDF format for sending by email or printing.

Analysis

Manage Holiday Lettings (MHL) is the only holiday letting software with built in business analysis options. View your bookings details and create pivot table that allow you to drill down to details, slice and dice columns and rows to present the data the way you want to analyze it.
